Product Overview

The AKSA APD2500M is a high-capacity diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, industrial sites, infrastructure facilities, construction projects, agricultural operations, workshops, data centres, and critical backup power applications. It delivers 2500 kVA / 2000 kW standby power and 2250 kVA / 1800 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.

Powered by a Mitsubishi S16R2-PTAW diesel engine, the APD2500M uses a 16-cylinder, 79.90-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged and air-cooled with fresh water aircooler arrangement, with direct injection, electronic governor control, water cooling, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, starter battery system, flexible fuel connection hoses, industrial exhaust silencer, steel bellows, jacket water heater on automatic models, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.

The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, flexible disc rotor, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This supports stable electrical output for high-capacity standby and prime power loads.

Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel. The controller monitors mains supply, generator voltage, current, frequency, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, running hours, generator kVA, kWh, kW percentage, power factor, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The APD2500M is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements.
