Product Overview
The AKSA APD1400P is a high-capacity diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, industrial sites, infrastructure facilities, construction projects, data centres, agricultural operations, and critical backup power applications. It delivers 1400 kVA / 1120 kW standby power and 1250 kVA / 1000 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 4012-46TWG2A diesel engine, the APD1400P uses a 12-cylinder, 45.842-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged and aftercooled, with direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, water cooling, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This supports stable electrical output for high-capacity standby and prime power loads.
The APD1400P is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements. The generator set includes a heavy-duty fabricated steel base frame, anti-vibration mounts, exhaust silencer, steel bellows, battery system, fuel connection hoses, and service-friendly access for inspection and maintenance.
