The AKSA APD72P is a diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, farms, workshops, construction sites, site cabins, industrial units, and backup power applications. It delivers 72 kVA / 57.6 kW standby power and 65 kVA / 52 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 1104A-44TG1 diesel engine, the APD72P uses a 4-cylinder, 4.4-litre, turbocharged, water-cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, mechanical governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This helps provide stable electrical output for standby and prime power loads.
The APD72P is available in open, canopy, soundproof canopy, and on-road trailer configuration depending on installation requirements. Every generating set is factory tested, including full-load testing and checks for control and safety shutdown functions before delivery.
