The AKSA APD550C is a diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial, industrial, agricultural, construction, workshop, and backup power applications. It delivers 550 kVA / 440 kW standby power and 500 kVA / 400 kW prime power, making it suitable for sites that require stable 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Cummins KTS19G4 diesel engine, the APD550C is built around a heavy-duty, four-stroke, water-cooled diesel engine platform. The engine features turbocharged and aftercooled operation, direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with an HCI544C alternator, offering brushless single-bearing operation, 4-pole construction, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and 2/3 pitch stator winding for improved harmonics. This helps provide stable output for general electrical loads and sensitive equipment used in standby and prime power applications.
The APD550C is available in open or enclosed canopy configuration. The generator set includes a heavy-duty steel base frame, anti-vibration mounting, integrated fuel tank, flexible fuel connections, manual oil sump drain valve, industrial exhaust silencer, steel bellows, starter battery with rack and cables, and service-friendly access for routine maintenance.
