Product Overview
The AKSA AC825 is a heavy-duty diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, construction, agricultural, and backup power applications. It delivers 825 kVA / 660 kW standby power and 750 kVA / 600 kW prime power, making it suitable for sites that require high-capacity 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Cummins VTA28-G6 diesel engine, the AC825 uses a 12-cylinder, 28-litre, turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, water cooling, radiator and fan assembly, and a 24V DC electrical starting system.
The generator is supplied with a Mecc Alte ECO 40-VL/4 C alternator, offering brushless operation, Class H insulation, automatic voltage regulation, and reliable output for high-capacity standby and prime power loads.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel. The controller monitors generator voltage, current, frequency, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, running hours, operating status, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The unit is available in open or MS85 canopy configuration for different installation requirements.
