The AKSA APD89C is a diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial, industrial, agricultural, construction, workshop, and backup power applications. Powered by a Cummins 4BTA3.9-G11 diesel engine, the APD89C uses a 4-cylinder, 3.9-litre, turbocharged and aftercooled, water-cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, dry-type air filtration, and a 24V DC electrical starting system.
The generator is supplied with an Aksa AK 370 alternator, offering brushless single-bearing operation, Class H insulation, self-excitation, and automatic voltage regulation. This helps provide stable output for general electrical loads and sensitive equipment used in standby and prime power applications.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE6120 control panel, which monitors generator voltage, current, frequency, battery voltage, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, running hours, operating status, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The unit includes an integrated base fuel tank and is available in open or canopy configuration for different installation requirements.
