The AKSA APD400CE is a diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial, industrial, agricultural, construction, workshop, and backup power applications. It delivers 400 kVA / 320 kW standby power and 360 kVA / 288 kW prime power, making it suitable for sites that require stable 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Cummins QSZ13-G6 50Hz EPA Tier 3 diesel engine, the APD400CE uses a 6-cylinder, 13-litre, turbocharged and charge-air-cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features common rail fuel injection, HPCR high-pressure common rail fuel pump, electronic governor control, water cooling, dry-type air filtration, and a 24V DC electrical starting system.
The generator is supplied with an Aksa AK 5300 alternator, offering 4-pole brushless operation, Class H insulation, IP22 protection, SX440 AVR, and 1% voltage regulation. This helps provide stable output for general electrical loads and sensitive equipment used in standby and prime power applications.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel, which monitors generator voltage, current, frequency, battery voltage, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, running hours, operating status, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The unit includes an integrated base fuel tank and is available in open or canopy configuration for different installation requirements.
