Product Overview

The AKSA AC2250 is a high-capacity diesel generating set designed for data centre, standby, emergency, infrastructure, commercial, and industrial power applications. It delivers 2250 kVA / 1800 kW standby power and 2000 kVA / 1600 kW DCC power, making it suitable for critical installations requiring stable 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.

Powered by a Cummins QSK60-G4 diesel engine, the AC2250 uses a 16-cylinder, 60.2-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged and aftercooled, with direct fuel injection, Cummins HPI-PT fuel pump, electronic governor control, dry-type air filtration, water cooling, block heaters, and a 24V DC electrical system.

The generator is supplied with a Stamford PI734F alternator rated at 2080 kVA. The alternator uses MX341 automatic voltage regulation, Class H insulation, 0.8 rated power factor, and ?1% voltage regulation to support stable output for demanding standby and data centre power applications.

Control and protection are handled by an InteliGen NT control panel with MODBUS communication. The controller supports automatic start and stop, generator monitoring, mains and generator breaker control, alarms, fault reset, horn reset, setpoint adjustment, operating mode selection, and shutdown protection.
