Product Overview

The AKSA APD660P is a high-capacity diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, farms, workshops, construction sites, industrial units, site facilities, and backup power applications. It delivers 660 kVA / 528 kW standby power and 600 kVA / 480 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.

Powered by a Perkins 2806C-E18TAG1A diesel engine, the APD660P uses a 6-cylinder, 18.13-litre, turbocharged and air-to-air charge-cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, starter battery system, flexible fuel connections, jacket water heater on automatic models, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.

The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This helps provide stable electrical output for standby and prime power loads.

Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel. The controller monitors mains supply, generator voltage, current, frequency, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, running hours, generator kVA, kWh, kW percentage, power factor, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The APD660P is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements.
