The AKSA APD10PE is a compact diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across residential backup, small commercial premises, farms, workshops, site cabins, and light-duty power applications. It delivers 10 kVA / 8 kW standby power and 9 kVA / 7.2 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 403D-11G diesel engine, the APD10PE uses a 3-cylinder, 1.131-litre, naturally aspirated, water-cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, mechanical governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 4-pole construction, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, and solid-state automatic voltage regulation. This helps provide stable output for small standby and prime power loads.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE6120 control panel, mounted on the genset base frame. The controller monitors generator voltage, current, frequency, battery voltage, oil pressure, engine temperature, running hours, mains supply, generator output, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The unit is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration for different installation requirements.
