Product Overview
The AKSA APD2250P is a high-capacity diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, industrial sites, infrastructure facilities, construction projects, data centres, agricultural operations, and critical backup power applications. It delivers 2250 kVA / 1800 kW standby power and 2000 kVA / 1600 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/231V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 4016-61TRG2 diesel engine, the APD2250P uses a 16-cylinder, 61.123-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged and intercooled, with direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, water cooling, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a Mecc Alte ECO 46-1L/4 A alternator, offering brushless operation, Class H insulation, automatic voltage regulation, and stable output for large standby and prime power loads. This supports dependable performance for industrial, infrastructure, data centre, and critical backup power applications.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel. The controller supports generator monitoring, automatic mains failure operation, operating status display, alarms, fault handling, and shutdown protection. The APD2250P is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements.
