Product Overview
The AKSA APD220P is a diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, farms, workshops, construction sites, industrial units, site facilities, and backup power applications. It delivers 220 kVA / 176 kW standby power and 200 kVA / 160 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/230V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 1106A-70TAG4 diesel engine, the APD220P uses a 6-cylinder, 7.01-litre, turbocharged and air charge cooled diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This helps provide stable electrical output for standby and prime power loads.
The APD220P is available in open, canopy, soundproof canopy, and on-road trailer configuration depending on installation requirements. Every generating set is factory tested, including full-load testing and checks for control and safety shutdown functions before delivery.
