Product Overview
The AKSA AC1250 is a heavy-duty diesel generating set built for dependable high-capacity standby power use across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, construction, data centre, agricultural, and critical backup power applications. It delivers 1250 kVA / 1000 kW standby power, making it suitable for sites that require large-scale 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Cummins KTA38G9 diesel engine, the AC1250 uses a 12-cylinder, 37.8-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged and aftercooled, with direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, water cooling, radiator and fan assembly, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.
The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 4-pole construction, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This helps provide stable output for high-capacity standby loads.
Control and protection are handled by the DSE7320 control panel, mounted on the genset base frame. The controller monitors generator voltage, current, frequency, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, running hours, mains supply, operating status, alarms, and shutdown conditions. The unit is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration for different installation requirements.
