Product Overview

The AKSA APD25MA is a compact diesel generating set designed for dependable standby and prime power use across residential backup, small commercial premises, farms, workshops, site cabins, and light-duty power applications. It delivers 16.5 kVA / 16.5 kW standby power and 15 kVA / 15 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations requiring stable 230/115V, 50Hz, single-phase electrical supply.

Powered by an AKSA A4CRX24 diesel engine, the APD25MA uses a 4-cylinder, 2.545-litre, in-line diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is naturally aspirated and water cooled, with direct fuel injection, mechanical governor control, replaceable fuel, oil and dry element air filters, cooling radiator and fan, starter battery system, flexible fuel connection hoses, manual oil sump drain valve, industrial exhaust silencer, steel bellows, and a 12/24V DC starter and charge alternator system.

The generator is supplied with a brushless single-bearing alternator with revolving field design, 2/3 pitch stator, Class H insulation, self-excitation, self-regulation, solid-state automatic voltage regulation, and direct-drive centrifugal blower cooling. This helps provide stable electrical output for compact single-phase standby and prime power loads.

Control and protection are handled by the DSE6120 control panel. The controller supports automatic mains failure operation, generator monitoring, operating status display, alarm indication, engine and alternator protection, and shutdown handling. The APD25MA is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements.
