The AKSA APD1875P is a high-capacity diesel generating set built for dependable standby and prime power use across commercial premises, industrial sites, infrastructure facilities, construction projects, data centres, agricultural operations, and critical backup power applications. It delivers 1875 kVA / 1500 kW standby power and 1705 kVA / 1364 kW prime power, making it suitable for installations that require stable 400/231V, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical supply.
Powered by a Perkins 4012-46TAG3A diesel engine, the APD1875P uses a 12-cylinder, 45.842-litre, V-type diesel engine running at 1500rpm. The engine is turbocharged, water cooled, and designed for heavy-duty generator applications. It features direct fuel injection, electronic governor control, dry-type air filtration, mechanical fuel pump, 24V DC electrical system, and battery and charge alternator support.
The generator is supplied with a Mecc Alte ECO 46-2S/4 A alternator rated at 1800 kVA. The alternator features brushless operation, Class H insulation, IP23 protection, DER1 automatic voltage regulator, 0.8 rated power factor, and ?0.5% voltage regulation to support stable electrical output for high-capacity standby, prime, and data centre power applications.
Control and protection are handled by the InteliGen NT control panel. The controller is suitable for advanced generator monitoring, automatic start and stop, engine and alternator protection, alarm and shutdown handling, and multi-generator applications where synchronising and power management are required. The APD1875P is available in open or sound-attenuated canopy configuration depending on installation requirements.
